SOME RESOURCES ON THE HISTORY OF PALESTINE AND ISRAEL

 Harry Targ

This essay, written nine years ago, provides information about some of the long-term relationships between Israel and Palestine. The conditions described are part of the context of the violence against all people in the region. Only de-escalation of violence and seriously addressing the rights of Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank can lead away from human tragedy. Instead, United States foreign policy participates in the militarization and against human rights in the region.
