I heard from a Cuban scholar a long time ago that the US has one ruling class with two political parties. Most of both parties support the military/industrial complex, genocide in the Middle East, kidnapping leaders of other countries, and starving Cubans. I am not advocating ignoring the electoral arena, What I am advocating is we support candidates who are committed to social and economic justice, peace, and environmentalism. And despite what many Democrats claim these are the concerns most voters have, particularly young voters.
