Nations’ in the 21st Century: Responses to Crises of War, Poverty,
and Environmental Disaster”
Vijay
Prashad is an Indian historian, editor, and journalist. He is the chief editor
of LeftWord Books and the director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social
Research. He is a senior non-resident fellow at Chongyang Institute for
Financial Studies, Renmin University of China. He has written more than 20
books, including "The Darker Nations" and "The Poorer
Nations."
He recently published a revised version of his groundbreaking book, “The Darker
Nations: A People’s History of the Third World,” New Press, August, 2022 which
he will discuss followed by questions and comments.
